Race history

The Gran Premio Jockey Club is the second stop of the three-year-old challenge in Argentine racing. It is held every October at San Isidro, on the most prestigious turf course in South America. The race is operated by Jockey Club Argentino, the same institution that founded the Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini. It forms part of the Quadruple Crown alongside Polla de Potrillos (Palermo), Gran Premio Nacional (Palermo) and Carlos Pellegrini (San Isidro).
